In its latest edition, Fly RC has published a 2-page review of our new RC throttle as well as our Stinger engine. Here is a link to the article:

Just to clarify... the author of the article was Andrew Coholic, a contributor to the magazine and not us.
Actually, we were absolutly non-instrumental in the report, aside from providing samples for testing, gave no input whatsoeverand we first saw the article 2 days ago, same day that it was released to the public.
Glad that it was favourable, however

BTW- this forum is full of guys that have probably forgotten more about these engines than I think I know. AW, CP, JM & others have taught me a lot.

Rog,
Xenalook is the name of our eBay store.
Since we operate our business under the trade name of Cox International we changed our user ID on this site.
However, same people, same good service and here is a link to out "Meat the team" page

Hey guys, glad you liked to see some 1/2A coverage - its not easy to get some small engine stuff to write about... and I LOVE me my Cox engines!
Some big news for me this past week, my little pilot finally arrived on April 6th, 9:43 am. His name is Joseph, and I guarantee within a few years he will know how to tune up a Cox engine better than any of you!!
(its my first child, and I am so glad!! Can't wait to have a flying buddy in a few years time!)

Outstanding - kids are the best toys a man can ever have. During those late night times that you're up, you might as well get some building done.

Congratulations bro! Hope you were a good kid and your mother never said ''she hoped you had one just like you''.

That got a big chuckle out of me! ! ! !
And a hearty congrats to you Andrew. Thanks to life's twists and turns I never had any kids of my own and it's a turn of events that I sometimes regret. But I've been lucky enough to be close friends with some great people that were happy, oddly enough often ecstatic, to let me borrow them from time to time. So I feel like I've had a chance to see the good and the bad.... like being projectile vomited on...
Bernie, it had been some time since I had looked at your website. So when I checked it out for the propeller thread running currently I was shocked at all the changes and new product. You're not just out to supply what you bought. YOu're KEEN on putting new options out there. I salute you for your efforts to keep the proud Cox history not only alive but vital and current as well as looking to the future. I have no doubt that Leroy himself is smiling down upon you and your team for keeping his ideas and name alive.

I was dubious about the effectiveness of that 'carb', seeing as it's more or less just a choke, but with the "B" head and standard plug I'm quite impressed. I may just pick one up soon, it's not like the engines are expensive at all. 6,000 RPM....hell some car engines don't even idle that low.

Congratulation Andrew. Welcome to Fatherhood.
Prior posts are right. Kids are the best playmates . I can't tell you how many times I was so proud of both my daughter and son's achievements.
From a "Hobby guy" standpoint the biggest highlight of my modeling carreer has been:
- My son succesfully flying the little scratch built Combat wing (video included on my prior posts ) we built together. I'll never forget the feeling of satisfaction I got watching my son's surprinsingly masterful hand at the controls. Somehow, that made the covering shine better in the sun and the Cox 049's song was that much sweeter.
The combination of building it together / him flying it / and powering it with an ol' 049 just like mine when I was his age was priceless..

Congratulations Andrew. I can tell you are going to make a great father. I hope Joseph loves planes and engines as much as you do.
Cheers
