Micro Telemaster
A few years ago I built a Mini Telemaster with an .07. Now I would like to do a Micro. Here is my question, delima. A Tee Dee .020 should fly it nicely, but they sell for more than I wish to spend. I have reed valve .020, and .049s even a single bypass Golden Bee. Which would you try?
Thanks

Go with the PeeWee .020. The micro Telemaster was designed for electric power and wouldn't hold up to the vibration of an .049. I have one on order that I will use a reedy .020 with. Nice relaxing climbup/glide down combination. Built lightly, it will thermal.

Thanks to all that responded. But it seems this project is on hold, when I ordered kit July was delivery date. Now Hobby Lobby says late August, Maybe next winter build, and buy then perhaps a Tee Dee 020.\

RE: Micro Telemaster
At a planned flying weight of 7 oz with electric power this model is obviously so lightly built that it would not do well with an .049 on it. A PeeWee .020 would be a much better match for a conversion to glow power.

I know cost is an issue for you, but you would do well to look for a G-Mark .03 R/C on Feebay. Should run about $70-80 for a NIB engine with carb, prop, and muffler.
