t587y28 ,
Very nice.
Is that a MECOA head?
I'd love to get my hands on
a red stunt tank in that shape.
Clever use of pipe cleaner also.
Thanks for posting the photo.
This is my idea of porn.
I almost don't care how it runs.[sm=red_smile.gif]
Hope this thread continues
with more Cox engines pix.
I'll ante in too.

question for you - who makes the needle valve shown in the pic of the red one?

That would be Kustom Kraftmanship(Joe Klause).
Fine thread valve in a plastic backplate.
Sadly K.K. is no more and their products show up rarely on Ebay.
I was lucky to score it, and a very few metal ones, several years ago.

I think I have one or two of the KK needle valve/carb bodies for the TD 049/051, but I wasn't aware that there were ever any for the Bees. Cool!

I even have one KK PeeWee .020 backplate.
I'll post a pic. of that down the road a bit.
I'm hoping this thread lasts a while.

Is that a stunt fuel tank, on the red engine?

The backplate has one fill tube
and a flush vent hole.

Does this count? It's a Skyline FX .049 from Tim Wiltse made from a stock Surestart. He modded the cylinder, piston, rod, and backplate. He made the spinner, turbo plug head, and prop driver. I haven't run this one yet.
