MP Jet carb

RE: MP Jet carb
Yes it would work. but typically the intake bore of a diesel carb is smaller than the glow engine version. But not always though.
Many glow engine to diesel conversions use the glow carb, but in some cases they can't go WOT but up to around 3/4 or 2/3 of WOT.
But otherwise it would work.

Spare carbs and all other MP Jet parts are available from MP Jet. Ed Carlson carries limited stock, I got everything I needed from David Owen in Australia.... His prices are reasonable and his service outstanding.
I'm guessing you are looking at the .061 BB CL engine on Feebay, right?

The carbs are identical. The only difference that I have seen is that the carb on the plain bearing glow engine doesn't have the low speed needle but instead has a fix airbleed slot. The ballbearing glow carb is identical to the one on the ballbearing diesel engine (no plain bearing ones where made).

RE: MP Jet carb
I was looking at the engine on ebay until I saw that it had a venturi and not a carb. I was hoping I might luck into a nice diesel and steel the carb for a glow engine. I have checked with Ed Carlson and he had not gotten any engines in as of about a week or so ago. He told me to keep checking back every month. Since he has been so helpful I would like to Get my MP Jet fix from him when ever possible.
Thanks for the replies and all the help!
