One ounce tanks, and MP Jet mounts.
I have two questions: Is there a source for one ounce tanks? If so where can I get one?
Also, Which no. Dave Brown mount fits the MP Jet .61? My chart doesn't list it.
Thanks.

Most 1oz tanks are unnecessarily heavy, you can make your own from a film can or similar containers.
For the engine mount, MP Jet are making their own one, just search for MPJ4400.

Mr Cox is spot on. See this thread on Dickeybird’s Fuji tank for details.

Your local Walgreen’s will (probably) give you a Fuji film can and you will end up with a better tank than what you can buy. In either case you will need to obtain some thin wall flexible tubing. The stuff that comes with the commercial tanks will have to be replaced since it is too stiff to flex for proper clunk action.

RE: One ounce tanks, and MP Jet mounts.
I use the one ounce hayes for my Mp Jet in this airplane Its an excellent tank of the 'O' ring type and not unneccessarily heavy. Tower lists them as header tanks. The black clunk line is also fuel resistant.
If memory serves me correctly the brown mount is the 0506.

Thanks JB, My LHS carries Hayes tanks so I'll see if I can get a one ouncer ordered. Meanwhile, I found a film can
to try.
BTW, I like that plane. I have one of those MP Jet engines and I'm looking for a model for it.

The regular Hayes engine mounts for Norvels (NV-06) can be used too if you have easy access to them. The MP jets are just a little wider than your typical .049 engine but the mounts are quite easy to work in and modify.
The MP Jet mounts comes with all the screws and blind nuts for the firewall etc. They really do make a full line off accessories (including really spinners etc) it is just a little hard to find a local source.
