RE: Prototypes of new Cox engines that will be available in January
Jaspur,
Somewhere around the 3rd. week of January.
Nikolas,
TD's are out of question at present as it takes about $100,000.00 of capital to make about 2,500 of them (we don't have that kind of money) and retail price would be around $100; a tough sell.
Keep in mind that, for these reed valve engines, we are using old Cox stock engines that we bought at fire-sale pricing, way below production cost and that is why we can offer these engines for $60.

RE: Prototypes of new Cox engines that will be available in January
Cool, thank you bernie.
A teedee would be a hard sell at that, luckily there a lot of used ones floating around for sale and most parts are still available to keep teedee`s running at peak performance (( this is the hint to stock up and hoard parts before it`s too late like I am going to do)) And even add a carb to that old screamer to improve upon the original.
I have not noticed a loss in rpm since adding the carb to my teedee051,she still pulls like the hulk in case you were thinking it
