Well, that's interesting. On Youtube's give us feedback link, I explained my problem and today, the red bar comes up but I do get logged on. So maybe Google isn't evil.

Back to Googleinsanity. I was good for about a week. Now I'm back to where I can't login to Youtube unless I provide another email address and a cell number, neither of which I have.

The insanity part is that I found, that under Google Accounts and Account Overview, it shows that two stage verification is turned OFF ?????

But the %$#&* red bar always comes up demanding what I don't have.

What I DO have is a summer of postings on new experiments that might not see the light of day. Including a radical, new hybrid fuel that depends on the capacity to adjust the compression of a glow head, on the fly.

Or I could make another account particularly for your videos and use one of my spare mobile phones and email adresses.

Thanks Indra, but that doesn't really solve the issue. I want to log on to delete the non engine videos I posted the last few times. As well, I have Adsense and that means a few bucks revenue. Buys a bit of fuel, now and again, not a big deal but,,,

Some people make a real good living at that. But they get a half million hits per video for things like "10 dumbest sports fails". Plagiarized but they get paid big.

All (most) of mine are original, unique content but admittedly a smallish audience. Maybe I should pad my tags with things like XXX and Debbie Does Dallas.

Once again Indra, thanks. Nowhere within any connections I have with Google or Youtube was there a number to call. With Microsoft, they are constantly giving out call numbers for assistance.

There was a Youtube forum that I subscribed to and the complaints about the new format ran into hundreds every day. How do I know? I posted my problem and the next thing I know, ALL postings to the forum entered my mailbox. I had to put the thing into my blocked email uh, box. Deleting hundreds of Junk E-mails in one shot is pretty easy. But eventually I found a way to unsubscribe.

And one of the biggest complaints about GoogleTube was that you couldn't talk to a real person about your problems with the new format.

I'll call the number tomorrow.

About spying. You may know that Google's street view camera car was set up to pick up wifi as they drove by your house. Now why would THEY do that, or who put them up to it?Also, a good number of years ago, Microsoft was caught having planted some kind of back door to your computer. They apologized and said they would never do that again. THEIR initiative or someone else?

And this TV thing is about the devices built in, buried along with who knows what software as included. Paranoid? You betcha.

In any case, I hope this gets cleared up soon. Spring came six weeks early this year. The day I went flying was the last gasp of snow on the ground. Snow's all gone and I have had to convert to wheels. But now, the last few days, we're getting normal temps, (for us) hovering around freezing during the day and going to ten below C at night. Crazy part is that we would normally get in March, one last blizzard with a foot or more of snow in one afternoon. Just a Cosmic reminder not to get too comfortable that spring is on the way.

But this year is different, we had days of 28 C above and the water ran down the street like a river.

Now if the expletive wind would just die down.

Yeah I mean I REALLY hate the new youtube layout, google have really upset me they just had to go and change something that was perfect beforeI suppose **** gets done different in Silicon valley.
I have seen the google maps car but also around here, well not here but back home in London we have theese little "smart cars" with those cameras on top of them and they go around keeping score of who is on the road and when I mean they check you plates and if you have tickets, outstanding traffick and for all I know legal charges too.
Weather, well here it is meant to be snowing every day and has been. Up here in big white the snow is still fantstic as I type this it is snowing HARD!
And I cannot wait to get out there today, fresh tracks and all
But in Vancouver it was raining lucky I am not there.
I am heading to whistler in a week via vancouver so hopefully there I can pick up a cheap BNF micro heli or plane.
To be honest though now I am content with snowboarding as it is SO good here.

They say that the west coast is the best place to live. You can ski in the morning and spend the rest of the day at the beach. Downside to Vancouver is that they're in a small chunk of rainforest. No winter as such but gray skies and RAIN for three months with little let up.

I called Google at the number you gave and I got a recording, you know, press this for that, round and round. At one point, the robot lady says, "because Google doesn't offer live support at this time, please see our website at,,,, etc. etc.

As I said, Google does not want any feedback and they don't give a r*ts *ss about individuals with unique problems.

If I ever do get logged on, I'm tempted to spend the day deleting everything, saving the text and finding another video sharing website. Who's number two in this business?

I'm liking Linux on my little netbook more and more...

A few years ago I updated Media Player for the heck of it. Those SOB's at Microsoft took all of my legitimately owned MP3's I ripped off of CD's that I physically own and have in my possession and HID THEM WHILE DEMANDING LICENSES!!! I still am missing my 61 CD's worth of music on this computer.

I hope Bill Gates burns in hell.

Lately, every time I update something, things go screwy. Useful features disappear and you can't get them back. This is the last computer I buy. If it goes to cr*p, I'll do a system recovery after saving the important stuff and switch to Linux or Apple. But Apple also has a history of evil, with sweatshops that burn down while all the doors are locked in the poor countries that make their stuff.

Microsoft was caught some years ago, installing a back door to your computer. They apologized and promised to never do that again.

yep, its not only porn sites it can be anywhere if you ask me, online games too. i used to have to reformat my pc every week till i found where the problem was comming from.

now that i think about it, there was a forum here where there were pics of pretty girls being posted and while going thru this forum i clicked on one of the pictures and my pc started acting up emmediately.
