I had a few minutes between Home Depot and work this morning to stop home and get clothes...

The parts I have checked seem to match the plans at a glance-don't know if that would be the case with a set of plans from someone other than MAN/AirAge. I was really glad the spar laminations were already cut, making those laminations is something I have always been loathe to do, along with cutting a hole in a perfectly good wing for a servo.[:@] It's funny what he dislike about things we enjoy doing,.. I don't mind getting epoxy all over me when molding a fuselage and I cut tool steel all week long at work, but I hate cutting thin plywood.

Anyway, I'm excited to get going on this. Can't guarantee regular or steady progress due to my time constraints but I'll update as I go.

No, unfortunately. I'm going to be a checkbook modeler for the near foreseeable future-I'm starting to pack for a move into SWMBO's condo until we can find a house to buy.

funny you should ask, after finding out my dad will go to SMALL with me I was thinking about the Chips because it's a Randolph design and how it would be appropriate to take it. I'm thinking it will be diesel powered..

I still don't really have a place to build, and my airplanes are here, my parent's place and my friend's. I'm pretty cramped.. Should be possible to build my last LMH100 kit, doesn't take a lot of room to put a helicopter together.

That's really cool you will be going to SMALL with your Dad. Hope all goes well with the house search and I will keep my eyes on the build when you start it. I just started a Bridi Load Star 40 (not 1/2a).

No, what little bench space I have is still covered with stuff I used to get ready for SMALL. I'm trying to buy a house right now-we're so packed in here with both of our stuff that we can't even walk a straight path thru the living room....

I just don't have the facilities to build right now. Charging batteries and minor repairs is about what I can manage if I stay on top of the clutter.

You know, the kit is only $30 or so.... why not order one? You would probably have it done before me..

I bought the plans a year or so ago. That Lazer Works kit looks great as I'll be ordering it soon.
If anyone knows which issue of M.A.N. the build article was it may help.

Hi, skyraider 71.\,
the article was in march 1990, I would love a copy if you can find it.
Thanks,
Paul
