"1/2 A" & "1/8 A" airplanes These are the small ones...more popular now than ever.

Change of pace.

Update!

I must hang my head in shame!

At least on the 1/2 A forum.

After a couple more flying sessions with the Pee Wee the rational, sensible side of my brain became
dominant over the nostalgic, relive my youth side & I converted the Roaring 20 to electric.

I guess it's a Humming 20 now although, with an 020, it never REALLY roared!

I'm happy because I'm rid of the noisy, fussy, smelly, messy Pee Wee!

A club mate is also happy as he now owns a noisy, fussy, smelly, messy Pee Wee!

Would have done so much better with a TD .020 and throttle sleeve with sep higher capacity fuel tank.

Bah, throttle sleeves! who needs that when all you're gonna do is bend your throttle stick forward anyway!

Get real, put an 049 on it

Nope, 049 (wen-mac) went to, club mate is happy though.

My half A engine involvement now relies on an OS FP 10 & an MP Jet 06.

Building smaller models is where my interest lies, the engines that
(used to) power them very much less so.
