Default New Futaba 7 Ch Transmitter

Where can I get the best deal on a new Futaba transmitter only? I don't need the Rx or the servos, just the transmitter. Every place I look I only find the whole package. Am I looking for the right transmitter to fly my small stuff and the big stuff?

Steve, Tower Hobbies lists their 7C radios available seperate. I own both, the 2.4 & 72mhz 7c's & they are solid radios for the price. I have over 40 radios in my collection and still use the 7C as my every day radio.....Gene

I second the 7C. Mine is nine years old and I still use it all the time.
Though I have the 8FG, I am considering adding the 2.4 7C to my
collection.

Dunno I picked up 5! of the rascals at a swap meet for a total of $15 back in February. 2 still had their shipping plastics in place
What are you after 2.4 or 72mhz ?
As suggestion? Frsky 2.4ghz radios are proving the equal of Futabas' best units, these days.. true. Dunno about build quality :-) but certainly in electronics/frequency stability and features.
These can be purchased as a complete with ALL the bells whistles full telemetry 18 channel;s etc TX for ~$180 (Aloft hobbies.com) Take a number though, as they are very high demand items.. supplies are seriously stretched.
IF you have a decent 72mhz TX currently a $20 Frsky 2,4 ghz add on module gives both a Very good 2.4 function and retains the 72mhz function ..for a whopping $20 (from above shop)
