Default MPJet .061

Just grabbed the March 2014 MAN while shopping this afternoon, and in Flightline was delighted to see a small ad by icare-rc for the MPJet .061 BB engines. I've had my eye on one for a while, that and/or an NV .074.

Most interestingly reading the copy, I learned that they have suction-driven crankshafts, and modified reversible rinsing with three overflow channels. Sounds like a commercial laundry machine pump to me. And here I thought they were normal RC engines..

I think you were reading the about the Aviation upgrade you can get for a Model A Ford water pump if using on a Peitenpol.
The MP Jet .061 is indeed a very nice engine. Especially the Diesel.

That's sounds like a Babel-fish translation...

Great to see that these engines, plus all the nice accessories from MP Jet, are available.

I'm all good with the engine specs, I know it is a champ. I just got a laugh out of the bad English in the MAN ad! And nobody at MAN caught it either. Mind you they only just seem to have figured out the difference between such words as "lose" and "loose".

It is the same as they have on their website; http://www.icare-icarus.com/MP-Jet-0...low_p_886.html

Great engines of course, as most people know already.
The text looks like a google translation of the original Czech one; http://www.mpjet.info/market/index.p...oducts_id=1714
