As they are basically a poor copy of the earlier Norvel engines (pre-revlite), I guess a Norvel cylinder and piston would drop right in (even the later revlite versions). I haven't tested this myself though...

Piston/cylinders sets for Norvel engines are available from NV.

Unfortunately, P/C sets for the .061 have been out of stock for some time at NV.

I would probably go to Skaliwag, if you are in the US or maybe Just Engines in the UK if they carry them. Postage may make it mor $ than buying a new one for the $35 or whatever they cost. I still don't know how they can be so cheap (sorry, inexpensive)

Ah, I didn't know that. I bought some about a year ago I guess.

There has been some discussions about the later P/C sets not being made to the standards they used to be, so maybe they are having difficulties in their remaking the original parts. It is better that they don't sell substandard parts (like the first version of their diesel heads) and wait until they can make things properly...

im building a plane i designed years back. i built like 4 of them as well as 2 of my brothers. its a top wing kadet style built from sticks. with 40'' w.s. the first i made my brothers called it prototype. and the name stuck so we called them proto. unlike many of my other attemps at designing a airplane. this thing was born to fly. anyways i went on ebay orderd me some stuff for my cox engine. got the carb and a head that takes what look like norvell plugs. i think ill try on the new plane. before. we used cox 049s and it was plenty of power. i might post pictures when its done
