    .020 mania again

    What is it lately?

    http://www.ebay.ca/itm/221380848869?...84.m1438.l2649

All of a sudden NIB versions are like hen's teeth. I've been hoarding an .010 for years in the jewel case waiting for this to happen.. but seems the .020 has become the holy grail of late.
Sorry I'm late dear, I had to help my uncle Jack off his horse.

Reserve was not met and the top bid was $96. The seller has relisted it for $350 and I doubt it will go much if any higher. So you might want to hold on to your .010 for a bit longer.

Here is one that just sold Sunday last, looks very nice and went for
$167, so $350 and especially $500 seems like pie in the sky.

Yeah, that's a clean example and I can see $167 and maybe $175, but..

If I bought one I would want to fly it! I can't see paying top $$$ for something that is going to drop in value like a stone once you mount it on an airframe.

This item currently on the auction site must be some kind of early April Fools joke

Yeah, but the shipping is free.

Maybe I should just keep listing my NIB .010's for $500 reserve until somebody has a few too many Johnny Walkers and hits "buy it now".
