Next I bent the landing gear wire best I could to the shape on the plan and assembled the box it fits in. Then I glued it and the forward brace for it into the fuselage.

Here's a nude photo to drool over while I plan my radio install.

Backing up a bit, I put in the rear landing gear braces that should have been installed earlier.

Next I glued in the 9 gram servos. I installed an AR 6110 end pin Rx and BEC in the area in front of the servos. The 2S LiPo will go in ahead of the landing gear. Then I glued on the bottom wing.

Glue the R2 ribs in line with the fuselage sides. Cap the wing and fuselage bottom with the 1/16" X 3/4" balsa. I'm leaving the front open for now and will make a hatch for battery access. Trim the bottom sheeting to the fuselage sides and hinge the tail surfaces.

Next I'll paint the parts before gluing it all together. I plan to use butyrate dope.

Mine is almost under powered with a PAW .03 but yours is going to be a rocket with the Tee Dee. You might ought to put the throttle on it before flying. I have a few extra throttle sleeves so if you need one just let me know.

Under Cambered airfoil should be a lift monster, yet two wings causes a compression zone between the wings which allows it to sit somewhat.

Really like the base colour. Would look good in Basic Trainer livery.
If you are going to do a vid, keep away from the bees.

Very nice Hollis..!
9 ozs is incredibly light for a plane that size, it ought to be a joy to fly.

Looks great Hollis. Mine weighs just over 10 ounces with a throttled PAW .03. It flies great. Plenty of power but not enough to get in trouble. Thank Goodness!

The white Tornado is a 4P you may want to fly with a 3P in lieu of the design. Well done I hope you enjoy it!

Thanks for the compliments guys. That particular TD is no ball of fire; compression is a little low. I may swap out the cylinder and piston assembly.
Pond Skipper, That prop is marked 6X3, but I always experiment with different props to find one that best suits the plane. I know the bipe is going to want thrust rather than speed.
