I picked up some silver tissue from someplace. I think it's Hallmark. My intent is to use it as "aluminum" on a tissue job one day but only after testing it.

Have you ever used any metallic tissues? I'm wondering if after applying and clearing if it will just look gray instead of silver.

I hinged my Simple 400 by cutting full length slots with a Dremel thin saw blade in a router bed. The hinge material is 21st century fabric. Tight, floppy easy to move, tough, looks good.

I don't fly this one all the time, but the plane has been together for more than 5 years and no problems. Done similar to the link Andrew posted.
