She would never be able to accuse Jack of staring at her chest....
A lot of movies like these never made it to my local theaters.
I've always been amazed how actors like these made such pretty decent livings by just doing a few projects per year in back up roles.
I had an older relative named Hal Fieberling who became friends with John Wayne and got a fair amount of "bit part" work in his movies.

I remember seeing this movie on tv a few years after it came out in 71 around 1974, I was 11 at the time. Many many of the film reels do to deterioration will never been seen again lucky this one made it to digital no apparent scratches in the movie I watched it not long ago too bad they couldn't make it pop in HD.

Ha none, but good idea buy once and just inflate to fit the plane. I was surprised the popular british JP painted pilots of this scale are done in heavy plastic this particular manufacture specializes in pilots from 1/3 scale down you would think they would attempt to shave some weight!!

That's not precisely the implication I was making, but we'll go with that for this PG forum.
I'm perched on a stool in front of the laptop that's connected to this.. in our 53 degree basement. Equipment stays cool easy enough.

Well, actually I'm cutting ribs now, that was earlier.

Thank you Perttime,
I agree could be a great small field flyer able to be open framed covered wood or T6 aluminum tube perhap ultralight class or experimental midget.
There is no need for a closed framed ultralight to look antiquated as this example

Laser working nice and smooth Mike I bet you're finding comfort in the smell of burnt wood, perhaps put a space heater down there? If you had to guess the cutting time to make each kit what do you think the minutes are on the laser? 220v I would imagine 12 amp?

60W tube, but I am cutting at 30W.. so maybe 300W input to the laser, cooling pump 50W, air pump 80W, lights 100W.. rounding up to 600W perhaps = 120/1/60 5 amp. If I crank the radio maybe 6 amps.
The deal with a laser is energy density in the beam. 60W of power in a 0.005" diameter dot is a lot of instant vaporizing power. Same amount of heat per second as a 60W light bulb but it cuts 1/4" spruce ply at almost 1" per second. In decent 1/32" balsa if I get the deck height optimum, the cut is amazingly fine and clean. The laser cutter makes me want to build small intricate things, not 10cc multi engine monsters.

Wow power consumption is way better than I imagined!! 10cc that would be around a 60 size two stroke.
The Saito 72 I just bought is 11.8cc if I recall, its in a 60 size frame ref next to the 26 surpass.
I am going to the print store this week with this file on memory stick will transfer cutouts to poster board templates.

Yes this is now my 3rd Saito they are all made that way. I bought this one as it uses a FA 62 frame pushed to 72 light for it size this series is called a Hemi Head high powered cam series. I have a 1998 80 size the 72 is only .10 hp less more reasonable size for the scout plane. I found out the two pilots are the Aces of Iron series now being carried by HK sold pre painted for about 30ish dollars less than the unpainted ones in the US! The 72 came out in 2001 and still being sold with a updated muffler.

My only four stroke is the Saito .72 - and it was/is a very nice handling engine, as long as it likes the glow plug. OS F's perfect, a couple others work fine too. Mine is in a thoroughly flogged H9 Pizazz.

Yea I actually prefer the Hemi Head look over the OS more of a scale vintage look.
I had forgotten I ordered another female pilot this one is modern may not really suit the vintage 40's look im going for.
Only 18g but a much more narrow by 10mm at 45mm this one would suit the scale very well.

Its copycat (smaller version) of this one by Slimline called Pamela Pilot
The smaller one is only 1.75" W x 2.4" H
I went and ordered one of these too but I think its too big for the plane the actual Slimline one would work better with a .15 - 40 size plane.
2.75" w x 3.25" h

I have a new OS Max 25 FX with a tuned pipe system in mind something with more detail with an enclosed bubble canopy and big pam steering the thing.
APC makes a 7.4 x 7.5C black carbon Q40 prop I was thinking on reshaping down to 6 x 7.5 if at 21k unloaded on the pipe 150mph.
- engines recommended rpm range / rated for continuous duty up to 19k and at 18k it makes .9 hp. If set up to unload at 19k 135 mph.
