Yes, Dick's Dream with a modern electric system would be a blast to fly. You could put it through stunt paces that we only dreamed about 30 or 40 years ago. Knock the dihedral in half, add ailerons and you have a full house fun fly bird.

I picked up a 'Dicks Dream' partly finished kit at Perry a couple of years ago.
It had the constant chord wing which I added ailerons to.
Powered with a 2204, 7'' prop, and 3s450 lipo.
Wing was previously assembled with too much dihedral, so I added rudder mixing to ailerons.
Flys great now.

You may want to take it to the post office, have them scale it and give you an estimate. I just received a 1/2-A CL kit shipped in an 18x8x5.5" box weight 13.2 oz. via USPS Priority Mail 3-Day and cost was $5.85. DON'T rely on the on-line tools. If you have difficulty with USPS, take it to a 3rd party who does USPS (Pack 'N' Mail, etc.) and have them weigh and give you an estimate. I think something is wrong with their calculator or shipping selection to give you a $38 shipping cost.

That's possible, but It may also be the fact that it's being sent across the border. Shipping has become extremely expensive for us Canadians purchasing from the US, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same the other way. I'll check it out.

Shipping is crazy over there in Canada, I think its a mandated plot by their government to have its citizens discouraged to mail order and trapped into buying locally to help juice the economy / government.

Oh, okay, thanks all, missed the fact it's being shipped from British Columbia. It's been a while, but I remember seeing a few foam wing cutters this side that will provide wings cut to Ace foam dimensions. That could be a viable option for someone wanting an Ace foam wing.

Here is a plot of a NACA 2415, with 6" chord, and offset lines from the LE and TE at 1/4" intervals, The chord line and high point, and a 1/16" sheet offset are also shown. If you want a .dxf I can email it. If you want add a couple of simple spar, LE/TE details I can sketch those in pretty quick, no filigree or portrait work. People keep looking for this info, all for the same reason of course!

I don't have it in .DXF, but if you can use a PDF, it's attached. You might read through the comments by MJD and myself about reducing the thickness to 10% to 12%. For the Ace High, I think your performance may be enhanced using the NACA 2412 airfoil. The last two digits indicate the thickness of the airfoil as a percentage, i.e., the maximum thickness (height) divided by the chord (or length from LE to TE). Since the 2412 is thinner than the 2415, drag should be reduced. There is a PDF of the NACA 2412 several posts above where Mike and I were discussing thinner foils.
