1st day of SMALL was a blast! Great time with friends old & new. We flew rubber & 1/2A free flight & RC, & UC 1/2A to .35. Nice weather & light wind.

Sunday Eve. . ... SMALL is over again for another year. Was there a NO CAMERAS ALLOWED PAST THE GATE?
You people must have had a perfectly miserable time or you would have told us different... No?

Hi Steve, Check rcg. I had 3 cameras, 4 counting the phone, but I was either flying or visiting the whole time. Weather was pretty darned good. It has been a lot hotter, a lot wetter, and a lot windier in previous years. I have to confess that I had to keep kicking me own arse because I left the Skini behind in the shop. Every time I thought I was done loading, I would think of something else.

Hi Steve, This wasn't a good year for the Skiniwag. I busted mine in half on landing, Hollis forgot his but Kevin's flew great. 1 out of 3 ain't bad.

Yep, it was a good one, Steve. Check the RCG thread for my pics. Should have some vids up soon. I flew your Scalpel extensively and the Scoundrel several times as well. Fantastic weekend of fun.

Yeah; I put several good flights on the electric Skiniwag. Nice, easy flying little bipe. Gets a long run on a 2s 800 lipo pack & ROG's easy from rough fields.

I checked out the photo spread elsewhere - OMG that's not something to miss.. look at a ll the cool stuff folks brought! A Charybdis, an octagon hoop wing flier (built more than one of each over the years.. fun), and I love the flying pile of crap! Did it work? No matter how hard you land it, it will always look the same.

The cow pie flew like crap but it's a work in progress.
I've done more tinkering with model airplanes in the last month than the last couple years put together. Several projects have my interest & hope to keep up the enthusiasm.

I don't care how hard you try, you can't make a pile of Sh*t fly like an airplane. It sure was entertaining though.

But it sure is easy to make an airplane fly like a pile of shee-it.

It flies really nice! Very smooth & responsive. Have some flameout issues with the Norvel if it's throttled back for long. Maybe fresh fuel will help; mine's at least three years old.
Also a very nice looking airplane. I noticed several people stopping to look & take pics.
