Default GLH Throws

Could someone give me the aileron and elevator throws for the GLH? My son gave me his GLH "as is." The Ace RC plans are long gone. Many thanks!!

What sort of power plant are you using the more the speed the less the throws.
If you start at 20 degs. should be safe if with a TD .049. If you have a throttle
ring or a RC carb least you can slow it down if the rates are too much. Is the
plane already built do you have any pics?

Originally I was planing on using an old Cox 049 Black Widow but now am thinking of putting on an electric motor, maybe around 18oo Kv. The plane was built many, many years ago. After I install the engine or motor I'll post a picture or two. Bear in mind that the covering is 15-20 plus years old but doesn't look too bad . . .

Couldn't find my old plans. I would suggest 3/16" u/d on ailerons and 1/4" on u/d on elevator .

I have a GLH that I built in 1989 and I'm converting it to electric. I have some EDF motors I plan to use with maybe a 6x4 prop or smaller. The plane is in good shape and covering is still OK.

My RC mentor who passed away quite a few years ago had one of these hanging on his gun rack in his spare room. I believe it was purple and gray solar film. I asked him about it and he told me that he powered it with a TD 0.49 and said that it was so fast that he would lose in flight and I think thats why it hung on that rack all those years ago!
