Default Norvel: What's in the box?

I just got a Norvel .074 today, swapped the TT GP07 I bought yesterday after reading stuff on here.

The TT GP07 came with all sorts of stuff in the box. I didn't look at it all. Aside from the instruction manual and a sheet of stickers was a neat little tool for removing the cylinder head. This probably won't ned to be used much as it uses a conventional glow plug.

All ther was in the Norvel box (aside from the engine) was an instruction sheet and an "Important Information" sheet. This sheet recommends removing the head and oiling the engine proir to running, but no tool is included to remove the head! [:-]

Also, I've heard something about removing gaskets to increas compression, I presume all the gaskets are on the head and you remove one or two if required; there were no spares in the box.

Is this right, or am I missing something?

Thats all you get. A cox glow head wrench will fit it.

IIRC the TT07 comes with an egine mount and a piece of fuel tubing in addition to the stuff you mentioned.

A COX wrench fits, or you can buy one from Norvel. [link=http://*****.com/2oen]Click here.[/link] It would be nice if it was supplied with the engine.

Yes the compression rings are under the head, but don't remove any until it is well broken in.

Thanks guys, I phoned SIG this morning and confirmed that's all you get..

BTW does anyone have a solution for mounting a spinner? the hole and even the adapters are too big for that small prop screw...

Use the smallest adapter and cut a 1/4" long piece of fuel tubing and force it over the bolt. This works for APC props as well.
