Here's a little wattage PC-9 that I put an MP-JET Brushless out-runner in and 3Cell LI-PO 2150ma battery. It flys for 17-18 mins and has loads of power. Knife-edge's really nicely. Wingspan is about 37 inch.

Here's the HOB Stealth Sport that I'm currently working on. It's coming along slowly... Up front is a Norvel .074, and thanks to the advice from this forum I put in dual aileron servos. It's definitely going to be a lot of fun!!

Here's my new Mini-Dust version 2.0 with improvements from my previous one (hopefully it last more than 3 flights like the other)

Matti,
Great work on your LS150! One of the best I've seen.
Have you flown it yet?
Be sure to use at least four rubber bands on the wing, I guess you just have two for the picture.

Well,

Since the thread is reborn, it's a good place for my Half-Wit. Still need radio gear and engine install, but hopefully I'll finish it up this week for weekend fun.

The red/gray is going to be definitely a sunny day scheme, but I think it did turn out pretty well for my limited covering skills.

Thanks... I thought this could be quick n easy to build, but then I started to make those holes and so on... It took over 6 months to build it (I didn't build every day)!

I flew it yeasterday (The 1st flight was very nice) n guess what? Suddenly no control! Those GWS receivers sucks! I crashed it with full throttle. But it was nearly undamaged: only some cracks in the firewall, broken prop and a hole in the covering of the wing. Its mass of only 290 grams saved it I guess.

I use only 2 rubber bands: 4 or more could squash the wing. Those 2 are hopefully strong enough.

Here is a 1/2A size Wittman Tailwind W-10 that I designed. It flies great and a color photo of the model was published in Model Airplane News earlier this year.

I saw a message from Fast Richard showing his Carl Goldberg 1/2A Skylane. Wow, what a beauty. I have just rediscover on that I started building many years ago. I would like to upgrade mine to use two servos, one for the rudder and one for an elevator. Can you give me any advice, and/or show me some pictures on how you did yours?

Thanks,

GVLAST -

I'm not sure but I think the "Fast Richard" member you're referring to is "ramcfarland" - do a search for this member name and a potential contact that might be able to help. I tried a search on "Skylane" and came up with "http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_1350980/anchors_1350980/mpage_1/key_Goldberg%252CSkylane/anchor/tm.htm#1350980" as a thread you might be interested in - even though it doesn't address your concerns.

I like the looks of the Skylane myself

Richard.
