Default LS150 and Baby Brother

Well....almost..... baby brother is almost a year older.

I just got my rudder only LS150 covered. I should have it ready to fly this week. I'm thinking about using nylon screws on the horizontal stab so I can put shims under it if needed.

Lynn.A thing of beauty-two things of beauty.I still have a love affair with "STICKS".In my opinion there is no such thing as an "Ugly" STICK.Good luck on your maiden flights.

Great "family" pics there Lynn. Looking forward to hearing about your rudder only experiences.

The 010 LS got me primed and showed me it could be done and was in reality my first RO success. But it flies so tightly and with such a slow airspeed that it almost seemed natural. One thing for sure I don't know if my recent success would have been so easy if I didn't have 20 or 30 flights on the LS.

Good luck.

Mach-Thanks, I think the beauty of this plane is turning a 2D plan on paper into a 3D object that flys in just a few hours. It builds so quickly you don't get tired of working on it and quit before it is finished.

Bruce, This is going to be different..... I just hope for a good steady climb-out and nothing too wild at first....like a free-flight with rudder when needed. I'll let you know what happens. Thanks for your support.

Yep . Spot on having two planes to go at once. What will be the power for the 150 or did I miss it.

I'm going to try a babe bee .049 at first instead of a Black Widow. I have one that I have never mounted. I'm not looking for speed since it is rudder only. The original size LS has no engine at present, it was too heavy for a .010. I need a .020 for it.
