RE: Futaba Micro stuff?
Rog I have been using the micro 4- channel FM Rec. that comes w/ their small 3- channel radio sets and it works great w/ full range as far as I can tell. I have four or five of them and like them. I get them from from a local shop that has ads in RCM and others. Dougs Hobby shop- talk to Jim Moran- he will sell the rec w/ a futaba crystal for 39.00 for RCU 1/2 A users. I think the Hitec 81's or 55's are about 16.00 or 17.00 and is good to deal w/. I have yet to get hit w/ that recever at our field w/ lots of flyers and the plugs are on the end which helps in tight small planes. Let me know if I can help Dale

Tower has a deal on a 4ch system, less the servos for $80 and that is with nicads. Its a Tower 4TH, but it looks just like Futaba so I assume it is made by them.
Also the 2ch and 3ch Futaba systems(2FR-AM and 3FR-AM) are on sale for $40, and $50 with 2 standard servos and no nicads. I have one of each of them and use Hobbico micro servos. If I wasn't over loaded on radios now I would buy that 4ch system.
The 2 ch system is all you need to fly the LS150, but 3ch would give you a throttle option.
......and to think my second radio was a 4ch system that cost $400 in 1968, thats equal to about $1,200 in today's money.

Yeah thats the problem I have too Lynn,, 3 radios my GWS and equip is in the pocket rocket, my futaba fm 4 channel is dedicated to my LMH heli... so I bought the Futaba 6ch T6XH so I could use it for different models, but they dont sell a flight pak for 1/2a stuff or parkflyers..so I have about 8 unused standard servos lying around here and am short on the mini stuff..Rog

Tower and Omni flight packs are for the Micro 555 only. ServoCity has packs with the newer and slightly lighter Electron 6, but for more $$$.

All my little 1/2A models are using those $8.95 each micro servos from e-bay. I been buying them at about 8 a clip and have not have any problems at all. Shipping is cheap and they take a credit card. Go to e-bay and type in micro servos.
