If you're a patient builder, get a Clancy Lazy Bee. They fly slow and have good lift and stability. Don't buy a Slow Poke. Great planes kinda' copied Clancy's designs, but fell short on the stability. I heard rumors that a company bought Clancy's designs to produce a Lazy Bee ARF with a real built-up frame, not the Cox foamie version. Good luck. You'll like not having the battery weight and charge time.

If you can handle a park flier, then a HERR Eng kit with a Norvel .061 R/C would be a real nice move up. A Herr Cub is real easy to fly, 3 ch, and can be flown very slow. The Star Cruiser or Cloud Dancer are good choices too. All of them are about the same thing. The Lazy Bee is a good stable plane, but I never did like the way it was built. All the Herr kits are laser cut, so they go together real well. Good luck. Ask lots of questions. Have FUN!

I agree with the Herr Choice. But I recommend the Norvel .074, as its a little better behaved and has a bolt on muffler. You can't beat a Cloud dancer/starcruiser. Put Micro servos in it, a 250MAH pack and run the engine on 25-35% fuel with 20% oil (with a little castor in the blend), and a Master airscrew 7x3 prop. The thing will last near forever.
