Different Norvel engines
I'm still trying to nail a source for Norvel engines that takes Paypal but in the meantime I am wondering what is the difference between the Norvel A6R .061 RC Engine and the Norvel B6R BigMig Sport .061 R/C?
The only information I've been able to find suggests that the former is slightly more powerful than the latter.

RE: Different Norvel engines
Search for past posts. AME smaller props, less torque, less friendly/higher rpm, Big Mig=larger props, easier handling/lower rpm. If not in a displacement competetion and are willing to pay the higher price of the AME buy a BigMig .074.

RE: Different Norvel engines
I could never get straight the internal differences between the A6R and the B6R but if good throttling is important to you, make sure you get the engine with the 5 bypass ports.
I agree with Mike,,, get the .074, it has much more power, weighs not that much more and throttles very well, as is.

The AME has 3 ports and the BigMig has 5. The AME is more powerful and better suited to fast planes, but the BigMig idles better. I agree with what was stated above. If you need more power than the BigMig .061 then your money is best spent on an .074.
