Default pica corsair 1/12th?

anybody built one, I saw where Fastlash seemed to be happy with the way the pica kits went together in general and I went to the kit builders forum and did a search, there they say they are "builders" kits ie not for your first kit , that the kits are good and wood cut is great but the instructions are lacking........ but no corsair talk at all in any of the scale sizes... Just about done with my Corsair. The kit went together like a breeze, and looks pretty scale for a 1/12 plane, and could be made to look even better if you wanted to spend the time doing so. As for a kit I thought it was an easy build, wood and materials were great. I beefed up the gear area and the firewall to handle my .20, but it should be a screemer. Good luck with yours

No I used the fixed gear. I just added some ply to the wing around the area where the gear is in the wing. Otherwise the birch rails that they set in are just glued to the balsa.
