I know, just posted it for prole, as he's building one for a decent, more modest size engine. but hey, it's got a norvel on it at least! you can delete it if it violates the rules of the forum, but he asked me to post a pic so he could see it. so I did!

RE: pic of norvel powered seniorita for prole
Thanks Fred-
that looks really nice, I have been trying to figure out a nice covering scheme for mine, I really like the Green and white. Only thing is that I want to do some transparent on the wings and the fuse to show off all the hard work. Might look cool with some Trans-Green and white.
I just got home from tour in Japan and am recharging my camera batteries, when they are done I'll post some pics.
Right now I am ankle deep in wings, got my Seniorita's, the two wing sides for my design and a sheet wing for a 1/2a CL that I'm working on. The shop in the new house is great that way. Have about twice as much space as the last one, and the best part is that i don't have to fit my bed in my workshop anymore. Thats right now I have a bedroom and a workshop!!!
thanks again fred - got anymore shots of the Kadets?
as always,
timothy

Prole:
Not a Kadet, it's an Eaglet, but they are similar. This one's done in transparent green and opaque white.
Bill.

I covered a Kadet Senior in transparent green with solid white on the front part of the fuse (cabin and nose)and front of the wing in 1990. The 80 inch wingspan plane flew very well with an OS .40
Here is a ARF in blue and white,.......... neat, big, plane.[8D]

it's under 4 lb; I build pretty light, but it has 5 full size servos, a 6volt 1650 njmh pack, and an apc 11-5 prop; had a mas 10-6 but now broken in, got more oomph! the seniorita stock with a 15 can be done under 3, a light airframe. I did use dubro sponge wheels, but it is tri gear and basically stock except w/ ailerons. it has good rudder authority and enough power, which is what it takes to hover; but you really have to watch what you do as it is not really made for it! you have to keep it straight up; under 75 degrees it wing rocks, and if you go over 90 it will flip and pancake upside down. but it looks really neat if you do it right!

RE: Kadetito the half sized seniorita
you know, a freind of mine built one of those. was kinda smallish and the construction was not the same as a seniorita. I think it was more of a kadet mk. II scaledown. I would like to scale the stock seniorita plans down to 66%, for a 41" span. would be more like the kadet and fine on an 074. It is on my to do list, but i'm so far behind now... still haven't got the 1/2a design plane flying, haven't started the beercat, been building for others this last week; put out 4 arc and one complete hotdogs and am assembling the 15 powered extreme flight 3d flier; I need one of those, beautiful arf. i didn't realize it had a full fuselage! will order a few of those monday, we are going to have 4 flying in the club in a few weeks, what a hoot! you guys see the video? it does the stuff on a norvel 15!
