Default fuel tube coiling to increase run time

Someone told me I could double flight times on my .020 pee wee if I coiled fuel tube and mounted it to my firewall ,with one end of the tube inserted to the fuel tap on the top of the tank.I am going to do testing tomorrow but if any one has done this before I would greatly appreciate tips, hints, and suggestions.

Default RE: fuel tube coiling to increase run time

My 020 would only run 2 mins. on the Cox tank, I fitted a remote tank by drilling the Cox filler to 1/16 " and sliding a brass tube down onto the plastic tube pickup. The tube sticking out the top was connected to one of D.B.'s Fuji film cannister tanks.Works great, but drilling that 1/16 hole in the filler needs great care.
