Gilbert .11 Engines

RE: Gilbert .11 Engines
Back in the '70s I owned a Merco .61 with the dual plug head. I am pretty sure that it was factory.
Also, there is an after-market head some helicopter guys use on the OS Hyper 50, that is a dual glow-plug setup. I believe it's called the 'viper head'. (No hyperbole in those names, eh? )

RE: Gilbert .11 Engines
I just remembered another odd engine I had. It was on a motorcycle.
Sears & Roebuck used to sell the Austrian "Puch" motorcycles under the Allstate name.
I had a 1960 250cc that had a twin cylinder engine but both pistons were connected to one crank pin and they shared a common combustion chamber.

Very old thread but I recently found out that MECOA now offers a conversion head for the Cox .15 which means the same part will fit the Fox .09, Fox .10, Hustler .10 and the Gilbert .11.
This leads me to think about the possibility of a diesel conversion head too.
MECOA might consider this if there is enough interest.
