Post your in flight photos.
How about posting a few in flight photos of your 1/2A models?
I'll start by posting a few of mine.
Some aren't the best quality, but maybe you guys can do better.

RE: Post your in flight photos.
Good idea!
I don't have any good ones yet. I may be able to strap(rubber band) a camera to my tx and aim with the antenna.
Edit:......the wheels are turning... I can make a tray large enough to hold the tx and the camera and let the camera rest on the tray(beside the antenna)

Cool pictures guys, I am over here from the car side. You guys seem pretty cool compared to some of the people over there. I took out my first plane EVER today; a little 3 channel electric. Needless to say it was disasterous, I will pick up a 2 channel plane while I am at work on Monday because it will probably be easier to learn on, what do you guys think?

RE: Post your in flight photos.
The number of channels isn't the problem. Those REALLY cheap 2 ch airplanes you see have throttle, with a set 'up' angle for elevator (more throttle means more climbing, etc) and rudder control. Keep your 3-channel radio and build or buy a 3+ channel trainer with throttle, elevator, and your choice of rudder or ailerons (me personally.. i don't use rudder much....) but if I were you, I'd go with a .40 size 4-channel trainer, so you could have the basic controls.

RE: Post your in flight photos.
Thanks for the input. I got the plane from the LHS, I am an r.c. car nut and I work there but I am starting to branch off in other sections and airplanes are first so they sent one home with me to mess around with. I guess that I will just fix the wing and the busted servo horn and try again. I started to get the hang of it but the wing was in such bad shape that it was flying everywhere it wanted to and I wasn't good enough to copmensate.

That's the stuff we like to see Match. Beautiful plane being flown by a pro![sm=thumbup.gif]
Everyone's pics look great. Planes always look better "on the wing".
Keep posting.

RE: Post your in flight photos.
I hate to hijack the thread here, sort of.. one day in the middle of December I WILL post pics of my Norvel .074 powered Piper Cub in the air!
Sounds good avery! Cars = you go too fast, go into a slide, hit the curb, and your day's over, with $20 to fix. Planes? rip that covering off, glue some balsa and the piece back on with ca and maybe use accelerator, and cover it again, at the field!
Mr Leffe - everybody knows you don't NEED this or you don't NEED that, but a .40 size trainer is bigger, easier to see in the air, very popular, and possibly cheaper (if you look at ARF's). The RTF's come with a 4-channel radio, good engine, built, servos installed, and its all so darn cheap! Bigger = more stable. But a 1/2A trainer would be just fine too. Who cares? Buy both.
