Have been arguing with my brother! He says the Cox TD .020(1960 or so vintage)should have a spring starter on it. Did it come with one? It has been so long since I have run this one I can't remember.

i am no expert on cox motors but i do't think they made td 020's in 1960,i may be wrong so do a search for martin schepperle and check out his site,he is a cox guru.

My TD .02 had a spring starter on it...til I took it off.

Here is a picture of some of my gold cases Tee Dee .020s which I think are the early versions. All came with spring starters. I have a silver case one I purchased new in 1985 that also had a spring starter. I would have to believe all the Tee Dee .010 and .020 came with them.
