Rog,

You need to upload your pictures directly from your computer to your post. I don't think [img] [/img] works for posting pictures.

Thanks Lynn for posting for me....It was flying like a dream...Deadstick Dan was at the controls for the maiden...just purring along for 3 minutes or so and wham a glitch drove it into the soybeans no control at all,,,it was either a glitch or my battery...but suprisingly for the fall it took ...I was the second accident of the day that came out of the soybean field with very little damage...took off the rudder clean and a bit of wing damage it should be ready again for this week....apparently soybeans are quite absorbent in their crash qualities,,they are however quite difficult to walk through.....Rog

Rog,
Hope you find the cause of the crash. Did someone turn their radio on and shoot you down?
Let us know how it goes next time out.
It should be very strong with that .074

Well if it was a glitch, at least its not at my field,,I spun around as soon as He said "I'm hit"
and no one had a tx in their hands,,And later on when I got back he said it acted like a battery, low on charge, and I know they do funny things when low ,from experience, it just went straight down..it only flew a few minutes but it wasnt as fast as I thought it might be,,although I'm sure it would have been/seemed faster had I been holding the tx...I havent started that engine for more than a year,,but it fired right up and ran fine...Rog

came out to 21 oz

well. its totalled! I took it out today cause it was a nice afternoon ,,its too short to rog so went full throttle and tossed it...flew out nice and smooth but wanted to turn right on its own, got it flying straight and was trying to climb when it ,,well I dont know what it did, ( a couple of guys asked " what happened it was was flying so well?"but since I painted it instead of covering,,it pretty much exploded on impact, tore all the servo arms off,,I dont think this one can be repaired....but I have most of the big pieces laid out on the table,,I'm looking at it and may give it a shot...Rog

Roger,

I'm sorry to hear about your crashed CAP. It sure looked good in the "before" photo. You know you are getting a lot of sympathetic nods from everyone who reads this post because we have all been there. I know that doesn't make you feel better now - but after a while you'll be telling yourself it was a good lesson. Yeah, uh huh.

Anyway, I dug up something that I'll bring along Saturday that I hope will go home with a new owner - someone who will finish it. No, you'll just have to wait and see.

Its ok Raymond, I have other kits to build and the 29th is my birthday and I bet we all have a model we dont feel like finishing ,,I know I have 3 or 4 of them the HOB mustang and 2 or 3 spads...but last night at work I down loaded and printed Lynn S.'s LS link and made a LS 155 on the copier,, I had done a 150 version of Dickeybirds littlest stick but tore it up to make another plane,,Jboys plane flew great at the last couple of meets and I have a few TD's to play with,,and the Whizard I think I'll redo...you guys shoulda seen when all the warbirds were doing low passes and Jboys LS came roaring through..Rog
