Not a lot in the way of ARF's in the 1/2a area there are I think a couple on the Norvel site, there are lots of kits, but most are 2 channel , that being wide open throttle (.049) for about 3 minutes, rudder, and elevator ,,there are kits, the simple series from ace at quantum models, Lee Stengal kits, check out ebay for kits or plans///

I have done a few of the Lee Stangel kits I got off e-bay. They are simple easy to build designs, but way over-designed for ruggedness. They fly well, but definitely would benefit from a healthy dose of lightening holes. The 1/2a Hummingbird is one of them I did and its a great plane. With a Norvel 061 it'll do the nicest inverted flat climbing spins.
