First I got hosed and then I SCORED!!!
I went out to my LHS on Saturday to get some supplies to start on my Sharkface. While there I see that the shop had a few big boxes with 2for$5 on them. SO I start looking through them and find a NIB .020 glowhead and a .010 fuel tank, mount gasket and screw set. While I don't have a .010 I thought hey something to trade at a later time. Well the wood prices had gone up alot so I was bummed but when I went to check out the lady said that she didn't know how to enter the 2/$5 deal so she just gave them to me!!! Not a day trip after all!

Timbo,
Was that at King R/C? I used to do business with them regularly when I would come down
from South West VA several years ago.
I have only been there a handful of times since we moved to NC but they are still courteous and friendly and 'negotiable'.
Glad to hear about you starting on the Sharkface. As we talked about at Roger's. I fitted an Ace constant cord foam wing to it to slow it down a little - so I would have the nerve to start flying it RO. I have only flown it once with this wing and still haven't been able to get up the will power to move the elevator plug to the throttle pin - but I WILL (someday). Honest injun.
