RE: Fuel shut off?
I guy in our combat group who uses a pressure/bladder tank on his Open B models just uses a short (maybe one inch) piece of music wire that is fixed on one end and is attached to a servo on the other - via thin music wire. The fuel tubing passes under the wire closer to the fixed end and the shutoff is a simple 'pull' from the servo.
The carb throttle is fixed full open and starts and runs that way the whole time.
Just remember to release the servo tension as soon as the engine quits.
If you wanted to have use of the throttle I guess you could set up the pinch-off to work when the trim was all the way down.

Try contacting Bob Hartwig at

I believe he makes a simple shutoff for use in SAM oldtimers....it's a simple wire loop that pulls the fuel line into a tube and kinks it off.
