Hitec Supreme 8 channels on sale @ Servocity
Not exactly the lightest of receivers, but Servocity has Hitec Supreme 8 channels on sale for $46 and it's buy one get one free. At 1.3 oz with case and only 0.9 oz without they may not be new light weight technology, but I have 1 and it works like a champ. So for $23 each I thought they were worth mentioning.
Not useful for our friendly 010 Aces out there but worth the extra half ounce for something bigger.

RE: Hitec Supreme 8 channels on sale @ Servocity
Yep, they're a pretty good plain old FM/PPM receiver but I've sworn off "dumb" PPM receivers and now use only "smart" units like Berg or FMA (or PCM).
I was just getting too many hits at my flying field with Hitec's receivers but switching to these alternatives has made flying much more enjoyable and significantly less risky. I haven't had a *single* glitch since going the smart receiver route.
