Hi all,

Well, the old vinyl fuel pickup tube has self destructed. I have tried silicone tubing but it has a mind of its' own & won't stay at the bottom of the tank. Any ideas?

buy a $5 rebuild kit from here and it comes with the new piece of harder vinyl tubing,reed,screws,spinner tank gasket and rubber o-ring, and both types of reed holder...Rog

Get yourself a Higley's 3/32 and 1/8" tubing bender, bend up a piece of 3/32" alum. tubing as shown and attach it with a short piece of silicone tubing. Works well and takes up less space....oops, another fuel mileage trick revealed.

ps: You're absolutely right, the bastids will grind you down if you don't fight back!
