Norvel has a line of ARF planes, best with .074's, that fly well. I have had the U-CAN 2 and the SEA EASY, both flew very well with the .074 Norvel. Hope that helps. I have seen several electric ARF's that I would like to convert, but don't know anything about them. Good luck.

Yeah, just find an electric plane you like and convert. The foam ones are easy to repair some even have replacement parts available. There are also several balsa types too. What engine/engines do you have at your disposal and what are you looking at flying?

FlyinRog, go to www.norvel.com Shopatron sells the engines, and SRA Foam Flyer, I currently have only a OS .10 LA and I might buy
a Norvel .049 or a .061.

Thanks Grax I did find that site (074/$50) and Sig carries the ucan2 (which I like too) except the shops in NC dont actually carry the Sig line they just have access to get them...
so...2fast4u can you hover a ucan2 with the norvel .074??
and is it a fairly sturdy plane?

The norvel planes are kinda glidery. Check out the laser models mini 3-d. IT might be an arf but I think it's a laser cut kit so is easy to assemble. Or check in the electric planes sale forum, i think somebody has an assembled one for sale right now.

FLYINROG, I don't think that you would be happy with the Norvel line of planes if you are wanting to hover. Check out some of the electric planes out there. If you do find that special plane, let us know about it too.

hahahahaha .. OK 2fast, no I dont have the skills to hover just yet, and BTW my pico stick GWS just came today and I know it wont, .. it just seemed like it might be enough engine to handle the job so I thought I'd ask, I'm thinking I might put a 074 on my HOB mustang, if I ever get back to it... I'm at the (have to have to motor to continue phase) part of the build, and cant fly it till the spring anyway so no sense in getting it now,,,, but (guy thing) I gotta have it now/ you know.....Rog
