Help with HS425BB servos.
Hello. I was hoping someone might be familiar with the HS425BB servo. Does the BB indicate ball bearings? Also, the all too familiar question: are these any good? I assume these are JR servos and as such are their connectors compatible with the Hitec radio systems?
Oh, one more thing. Any comments on the JRNES-527 servos? Are these bushing-ed or ball raced servos?

RE: Help with HS425BB servos.
The HS425BB servo is a Hitec servo. BB does stand for ball-bearing. I have more than a dozen of them and haven't had one fail yet. They are a powerful servo. Can't help you on the JRNES servos as these are JR servos and I don't use anything by JR.

Thanks MrMulligan. Since the HS is a Hitec servo I assume that it would fit my Neon single stick? In that case I think that the JR and Hitec connectors are the same because the HS425BB servos happen to be on my JLine Quattro system.

Hitec, JR, and Airtronics use the same connector. If you shave off the "ear" on the Fubaba servos, they will fit too. Your 425BB's will go nicely with your Neon system. Have fun!

Mr mulligan is 100% on< I have at least 24 HS 425s at $15 or$16 cannot beat them, never a failure, even after making holes in the
ground a couple of times only broke a servo arm and they punch 46 oz torque on 4.6 V for smaller servos I use HS 81s and no problems there either martin
