Default Looking for fun 1/2a gas model

I got my first 1/2 a and am having a ball with it. It's a Neofun by Norvel, powered by a Norvel .074. It's a little more demanding to fly than my larger ones, but its easy to transport and its so light that "aggressive landings" etc. don 't damage it as much or so it seems. Any suggestions for others? How about a bipe?

A bipe! What would you want one of those goofy things for?

Herr makes a Pitts kit for a .074, but I think it might be better suited to a .15. http://www.iflyherr.com

Hacker used to sell a biplane ARF called "Funny", but I don't see it on the Sig website anymore. Other than that there isn't much for 1/2A bipes unless you want to convert an electric or scratch build one.

I've designed a few 1/2A bipes, so if you are interested in scratch building, I can send you plans for one. The Bipe Stik or the Cloud Buster (white with red stripes) are good with the Norvel .074. Here is a video of my Bipe Stik that was shot when it had a Thunder Tiger .07. It has a Norvel .074 now, which has a lot more power. http://www.donatelli.net/bipestik/bipestik.wmv You can download the plans from the 1/2A all the way group. http://groups.msn.com/12Aalltheway Look in the plans section under documents.

It's nice to see a couple of 1/2A Tiger Moths.

I almost forgot that Early RC Models has the School Girl. http://www.earlyrcmodels.com

Not a bipe, but if you wanna have some fun, try a HalfWit. Just search the forum for it. 1/2a profile fun fly model. Durable and high fun quotient.

The ACE Simple Ultimate is a very good flying plane, but it really needs a .15 to .25.
