Jeeze, I've been "outed" by someone I thought was my friend! Just goes to show you have to be careful who you trust with your deepest, darkest secrets.
But I gotta tell you guys the Bob Harris 'Wee Stick' with the cheap GWS 350D motor on 2 cells and an 8x6 prop way out flies my TD .010 Littlest Stick on its best day. The bad news is that Wee Stick doesn't make that pretty sound that can only come from a high-winding, open exhaust - nor does it ever smell right.
"Hokey Pokey" is for tossing around in the backyard. $5 motor, prop in the back, all EPP - indestructable and harmless and nearly silent.
OK, I'll have something "real" and new for Rog's October do. How 'bout a slightly scaled up Ebenezer with a small diesel or a Ted Strader all-sheet Mustang and a TD .020? Hmmm, I started a Mini Mono a while back. I wonder where I put it.
Well anyway, Vic and I had a pretty good day. His F-18 is very impressive. I think if he keeps practising, in another year or two, he might eventually be able to fly fairly well.

We really did have a great time as we always do. Rog I got that plank put back togeather and plan to bring a Rascal too. Who knows since I finish school in two weeks I may even have time to get that Mig togeather.
After watching Raymond catch the HP several times I began to be impressed at how agile he really is.
All is not terrible once you convert to the SPARK side, the Wee Stick did rock. I have some nice video evidence...er...footage of... nevermind.
CP, you better watch what you say I may make my own version of the FSOD (foamy sword of death) or worse yet electrify a warboar for the October event.[>:]
Thanks for lunch Ray.

Bruce,
I had to laugh out loud at your "Big Touche" comment. It turns out to be a two-edged sword .
Edge one, is that I have gained quite a bit of weight since I retired almost four years ago AND
Edge two, when I was many pounds lighter I used to teach fencing (foil, epee, and sabre).
Ah, the good ole days. Now just bending over to catch a toy airplane anywhere below my knees is cause for a grunt.
Hey Rog, I'll have my "Hoot" ready (it got a little bent last time out) for October. Its the 90 sq. in, TD .020 handful that I only bring out for special occassions.
