Closest you'll get is the Guillow's B-25. Replace 90% of the pine lumber in the kit with real contest balsa, and you'll have something special.... They have a few other planes that would work well, too, such as the B-24 and B-17. Any of those would require some engineering to make them work as r/c models, or at least work 'well'.

I don't know if you're intrested in building from plans, but September 1997 issue of Flying Models has a B-24J Liberator for (2) 1/2 A's. There's a lot of good information about the B-24 in that issue.

1/2 A bomber ?
I'm not sure if this Plane can be considered 1/2a, but I sure like it.
Dare makes a B17 that looks really nice designed to run on 4 speed 400 motors they seem to be about equal to the norvel 074 this one would be great to convert to 4 of the norvel engines if possible. anyway take a look.
