Default 1/2A Phantom Mite

I thought some of you might like to see this just completed 50's control liner. 16" span, powered by a DC Merlin 049 diesel. Wonder if I could build another one and squeeze in a couple of servos? Na, too small..........John

Realy Neat , Sharp Airplane.... Way To Go......
I had one of those back in '72. I won the club 1/2A (1.5cc.. .09ci) Rat race with it.
Mine was Canary Yellow and I had a C*x TD .09 with a cobbled on Fox muffler. Silencers were the latest reqirement in those days or we would run the risk of P'ing of the 'hood and loose the field. I still have the engine.

Edit... Darn Typo's

Hi Skaliwag, good to hear your experiences, although you may be thinking of the full size Phantom ( 22" span ). Thats my PAW 0.9 powered one, and yes, it goes like a cruise missile. The Mite was a scaled down Phantom, only 16" span.
ptulmer, thats a Cox 6" prop, just looks big because the plane is so small, I hope its gonna fly. I'm trying to find a 6X6 prop, thats the recommended size for the Merlin when used for C/L.
