Default SERVO CITY Sale

If you're interested, [link=http://www.servocity.com]Servo City [/link] is running a 20% off sale on servos and has Hitec 270 mah Ni-Cad packs for $2.00. The discount is applied when the item goes in the cart.

I'm not associated with them, but have had good service in the past.

I took advantage of it too. Ordered 4 of the mini switch harnesses for a buck each, 3 of the regular ones, a couple each of the 270 and 600 packs, 4 more HS81's and an Electron 6 RX.

I was just about to place my order when I noticed the policy on their sales page about shipping only via UPS for international orders. The funny thing is on the checkout screen the only option is "Standard US/Canada Shipping", so I sent an email to find out if they will ship to Canada via USPS. I don't really want to pay an extra $40 for the UPS brokerage fees.

I saw the same thing and immediatley emailed them as I had already placed my order and wanted to alter the shipping addy to Point Roberts. But no sweat. For Canadian orders they use USPS Global Services so it goes through Canada Post right to your local Post Office for duty and GST payments. So order away dudes. It's like Puyallup at your doorstep in December...

If you don't mind the hassle you can broker UPS yourself. My last shipment from them was a warranty item, they wanted $38 for brokerage fees , duty and gst. I refused the parcel and asked for the number to UPS and informeed them that I would broker it myself. I picked up the paper work from their office went over to customs got it taken care of, didn't pay any duty or gst and went back and picked up my stuff with my $38 still in MY pocket.
