Marakuta mini Me109
Has anyone ever built one? This is a real old kit from the 80's. I have built the House of Balsa kits and was wondering how this one compares. It seems (from the box) that it would build heavier though it is about the same size as the HOB kits....around 229 sq's. I flew (fly) the HOB planes with Norvel 074's.........caster2

I'd be interested in input also. I have the older Marutaka 1/2a Zero sitting on my shelf. I went nuts to buy it when I figured out the Norvel .074 would fit in the spun aluminum nose bowl. However, after looking at what seems to be 1,000 sticks in the box I've back burnered it temporarily.

Yo, Silas! You know who THIS is!
I had the 109, the Zero, and the Spitfire.
Just threw out the fuse from the 109, that was all I had left.
To all, I say, the Norvel 074 is perfect.
Fast, easy building kits, about the same as HOB, but nicer. The Zero has a full cockpit, too.
