RE: Hey, Bob's in the AMA mag!
Well, seeing how they had a empty spot in need of a picture they put it in there! You can put it under your trash cans to scare off the rats!! As for photos, I hope to take several at the 1/2A meet so we all can get in a magazine. So if Rog can hold off the rain we can fly on Saturday!! As for racing I am going to pass this meet. My new composite, lightweight, design is not ready and i am having trouble with the color scheme. The model is so fast with the Black Widow turning 42,000 RPM that its just a blur and I am having trouble turning it in a 1/4 mile course!!!!! Hopefully in the fall!!
See ya there,

Bob,
Its clear that with the introduction of your photo in the AMA magazine that this is just the first step in your diabolical plan to assume control of that organization and morph it into (drum roll) the Antique Modelers Academy. Well, that's all right with me. Just be gentle with those guys up in Indiana. Some of them may be too old to remember the good ole days (know what I mean, Vern?)
But not guiding the way in the reedy race that YOU were one of the founding fathers of! What ARE you thinking? How 'bout you fly my Sharkface and I'll be your pit man?

Well, those RPMs are static. With dead batteries in my tach!! Hopefully I can help Rog with the Rivets and other stuff. I am bring several 1/2A to fly and even hope to dig out my Stingray Delta which has not flown since last year because of battery issues. That's if I can get that blasted Norvel to run!!!!!!!!

It's cool to see yourself in a magazine and realize who it is isn't it?
I just wish they could get my name right once in a while! The one time they DID get my name right the picture of me was about two pixels big. The caption went something like, 'Seen here William Crane is flying a demo for the crowd, no not that, that's a fencepost, he's the black spot to the left and behind it.'
Oh well, it ain't easy being infamous.

Well Raymond I appreciate the offer of the Sharface loan but I may bring out the Jr Falcon to woop up on those younger guys!! I have a Sharkface partially cut out and want to fly it single channel also. Just got to get my escapement cleaned up a bit!! Now that would be bragging rights! Win the Reedie Race with a Sharkface and escapement!!!
Patrick, I have been used for worst. At least the mag will make it into the library!!

You know, Bob. I might give you a hard time, but your article, that was in the same mag as Dickeybird's two stiks, was fantastic! Is there any vintage 1/2a or just plain 1/2a articles in the works? (maybe with pullout plans?)
