New to me Cox
A guy in the beginner section , having heard me tout the wonders and magic of 1/2a fun, said he had an old cox .049 that he'd never use if I wanted it, then he said the glow head was about the size of a quarter? Thinking queen bee I asked if it had a throttle and muffler? he said it had a ring to control the exhaust gas (or something like that)...out of curiosity as much as anything I said sure sent it, he asked me to send him $4 to cover postage,it turns out to be a Medallion .09 with the throttle ring but the muffler has been removed, I dont think it has been run either, came with the wrench and an old yellow tornado prop....looks powerful! like an .049 tee on steroids.........Rog

Looks to me like muffler pressure lines perhaps, with some sort a valve adjustment T. All very interesting.
Check your prop screw thread. 6-32 is 09, 8-32 is 15.
