Winter Cleaning Heads Up
Just a heads up.
Since I've now got time I'm doing a bit of winter cleaning on extra/spare 1/2a planes and the like I've got around. I usually buy in two's.
HET-RC R-6 Eight Ball (1930's racer) (new unused).
E-Flite Ascent (some built, new unused).
TT Velocity Delta Wing (new).
Tanic 2220 Li-Po (new unused).
GP PolyCharge (for Li-Po's. new unused).
6ch GWS receiver w/crystal Ch52 (new unused).
They're all listed in the For Sale area.
Cheers,
Alex

RE: Winter Cleaning Heads Up
Hey Dale,
I can take some pics tomorrow after I charge my camera's battery. If you're interested in the type of plane I've noticed that a few people have built the '36 R-4 Firecracker.
Here's an article on the HET R-4 http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=472952
Funny he used the same terms, "bullet" and "not for the faint of heart" very much true.
The R-6 really does scream, especially with the setup I've got. I don't know which is more exciting to fly the R-6 or my Stryker C model.

RE: Winter Cleaning Heads Up
Sorry Dale,
I forgot to get the battery charged before starting up some projects around here. She's on the charger now so will get the pics online tonight or in the morning.

With the 2812 HiMax outrunner, 1320 3cell lipo, 25amp controller and 10x6 prop (looks more scale) she's quick, though not as fast as the shrike which was running an inrunner and much smaller, 4.5 inch, prop.
Have to pay attention to torque with my setup but you can just open the throttle, give her a light toss and off she goes... to bad I left her in Portland.
If this one doesn't sell Ill probably just build it with retracts, a higher kv outrunner and smaller prop.
