Yes indeed Storm. Thats why I have a NIB example of both the 40 and the 20. The 20 was never a big seller and consequently there wern't that many sold here in the US. They usually command a better price then the 40. Not that mine are up on the block.
Oh and if you never took one of those apart, it was the sincerest form of flattery to Davis model Products. Ron Irvine copied the design and used it on that motor. Incidentally DDD had the patents to that head design. You didn't see any copies of it till the patents expired. So for an idea that the purist hate it has a following among knowledgable engineers as an efficient head design for a model 2 stroke.diesel.
