Throtted .010
What ever happened to that company that was supposed to be producing a throttled Cox .010? I think they were called Microflight. They also had a kit to go along with it. It was a 4 channel low wing and I believe had about a 17 inch span. I would like to know where I could find a throttled Cox .010 or .020. Anyone got any info?

They were at the NW expo last week with both. I checked the motor out, pretty cool set up, they had a show speical of $79.95 for the .010, and a list of $109.95, had the plane there to but Iam not in to park flyers so I passed on checking it out, I got the impression they were only taking pre orders???

If you can find a Pee Wee .020 R/C, use the throttle sleeve/ cylinder on a TD .020. At one time they could be ordered separately. I have used this set-up on a Piper Aztex twin with home made brass fuel tanks and they work very well. The idea was to provide a way to shut down a live one if I had one engine flame out. It worked better than expected, so I adopted the idea to an indoor slow flying R/C. It would run at idle for as long as you wanted, them open up the throttle witout any hesitation.

Thanks for the link. You're right, not much info on the throttle there. A shame it's taking so long. I stopped work on my own version when the ads came out. Placed an order immediately and that was a year and a half ago. No sign of it yet.

I don't think the TD 020 is still in production, but the Pee Wee still is. As for the R/C sleeve/cylinder, call Cox at 1-800-451-0339.
If you can find all the bits to make up a TD .020 R/C, you will find they work way better than the TD .049 with a throttle sleeve.
